We're excited to share that Club Air will be sponsoring the Penrith Waratahs Junior Rugby League Club's Under 19s and Men's Open teams for the Women in League Round on May 10, 2025.
Rugby league in Penrith has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I played for the Penrith Waratahs years ago, and watching all three of my kids start their rugby journey with the same Western Sydney club has been incredibly special.
My eldest son still plays each weekend for the Waratahs, keeping our family's connection to the Penrith rugby community going strong.
I've been fortunate enough to coach at the Waratahs too, which has given me even deeper appreciation for what this club means to our community.
The values of teamwork, respect, and dedication that rugby league instills are the same values we bring to Club Air every day.
Supporting Women in League
The Women in League Round is a chance to recognise the essential role women play in rugby league and raise funds for the Penrith Women's Health Centre.
This vital organisation offers comprehensive health, wellbeing, and domestic violence support services designed by women, for women across the Penrith, Hawkesbury, and Blue Mountains areas.
What makes the Penrith Women's Health Centre so important is their feminist approach that ensures women can access services without financial or cultural barriers.
As a non-profit charity organisation, they rely on grant funding and community donations to provide essential support like pantry supplies, menstrual products, and toiletries to women in need.
At Club Air, we believe in supporting causes that strengthen our community. Every one of us has important women in our lives, and this round is a meaningful way to show our appreciation while helping fund services that make a real difference in Western Sydney.
