How much space do you need?
Short version: 6.5m × 7.5m of clear, level grass, 4.2m of vertical clearance, and a 90cm access path. The Sydney backyards that work are smaller than people think — but a few common hazards rule otherwise-good spaces out. This is the no-fluff sizing guide.

The exact measurements.
Print this, grab a tape measure, walk the backyard. Five minutes saves a deposit.
Why 6.5 × 7.5, not 4.5 × 5.5? The inflatable itself is 4.5m × 5.5m, but our crew needs room to anchor the perimeter pegs, swing the blower hose and walk around during setup. A snug fit on the inflatable alone is not enough.
Grass. Only grass.
Our engineering certification only permits anchoring into grass. That means pavers, concrete, decking, tiles and artificial turf are out — not because we don't want to, but because we can't sign off on the anchoring on hard surfaces. No sandbags, no compromises.

Two outlets, 25 metres.
We need two standard 240V power outlets within 25m of the setup area — one for the blower (which runs continuously to keep the tent inflated), and one for the sound and lighting rig. An outdoor outlet, garage outlet or a covered extension run from inside the house all work.
No power, no party. If your outlets are further than 25m or you only have one available, mention it before booking — we'll work out whether a heavy-duty extension covers it or whether the spot won't work.
Sizing FAQs.
The Club Air inflatable nightclub is 4.5m wide × 5.5m long × 4.2m tall when inflated. We ask for 6.5m × 7.5m of clear, level grass for the footprint plus working room around the perimeter for setup and anchoring.
4.2m at the apex. That's roughly the height of a single-storey home's gutter. Pergolas, low branches, washing lines and powerlines all need to be clear of the inflatable footprint.
No. Our engineering certification only permits anchoring into grass, so we're grass-only. Backyards, side lawns and parks (with council approval) are all fine.
If your access path is at least 90cm wide and clear from the kerb to the setup area, we can wheel everything in. Most standard Sydney side gates are 80–100cm.
Around 20 guests comfortably on the dance floor at any one time. Most parties run 25–60 guests total, rotating between the club, the food and outside.
Yes, a fresh mow makes anchoring cleaner and the floor more comfortable. Long grass also hides hazards like sprinklers and pavers we'd rather not peg into.
We need reasonably level ground. A slight slope is fine; anything you'd struggle to put a deck chair on, we won't be able to safely inflate on.
